A Passion for Seasonal, Sustainable Florals
I’m Emma, the founder and studio florist at Bumble & Iris.
What began as a love for garden-grown flowers led me to cultivate my own blooms for cutting.
Seeking a creative shift from a career in social care and education, I founded Bumble & Iris in 2019.
Our mission is simple: to create stunning, garden-inspired floral arrangements that captivate the eye and nurture the earth.

At Bumble & Iris, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We’re passionate about ‘field to vase’ flowers.
Although these days I have less time to grow the flowers,
my homegrown flowers often serve as the final flourish in our arrangements.

By working in harmony with the seasons, we craft eco-conscious designs that celebrate nature’s ever-changing beauty.
We do not use traditional floral foam and reduce single-use plastic use wherever possible and we’re committed to
continually improving our methods and upholding higher sustainability standards.

Nestled in the beautiful landscapes of Devon, our studio in Bovey Tracey is where I create each arrangement.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dogs, Baxter and Teddy and I also love
a peaceful break with a mug of peppermint tea in the summerhouse.
At Bumble & Iris, sustainability is more than a buzzword; it’s woven into every stem I work with.
I’m deeply passionate about local sourcing, seasonal flowers, and sustainable practices and this passion
is reflected in everything we do.

A significant portion of the flowers I use are grown within 20 miles of my home.
This supports small businesses and reduces the carbon footprint of both my business and the floral industry.
My commitment is to provide clients with stunning, garden-inspired blooms
that bring joy and positively impact the environment.
